Neil Armstrong: Meet the Famous Astronaut
Enslow Publishers Inc., 2003

Neil Armstrong got his first taste of flying when he was six years old. He and his father took a ride in a small plane called the Tin Goose. The plane was noisy, and the wind made it bounce. Neil's father was scared. But Neil loved it. Neil got his pilot's license on his sixteenth birthday even before he had a driver's license. He went on to become a Navy fighter pilot, a test pilot, and then an astronaut. On July 20, 1969, he became the first person to walk on the moon.

Ken Griffey Junior: All-Around All-Star explores Junior's childhood, his rise through the minor leagues and his years as a major league player for the Seattle Mariners.
